Bruno Mars shines at 2017 AMAs

Bruno Mars was the AMAs biggest winner.

The 45th Annual American Music Awards (AMAs) went down yesterday night (November 19, 2017) and Bruno Mars emerged the gala’s biggest winner. The 24K Magic hit maker went home smiling after bagging six awards including the artist of the year award.

He followed his winning streak by scooping the award for favorite male artist and pop/rock video of the year for That’s What I Like, and the same song took the favorite soul/R&B song award.
His 2016 album 24K Magic also got him two awards namely; favorite pop/rock album and favorite R&B album.
He also won the favorite soul/R&B male artist award while Beyoncé won in the female category.
Keith Urban also won big by taking the favorite country song, album and artiste award.

Selena Gomez debuted her new blonde look at the AMAs.

Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber’s Despacito took the award for collaboration of the Year while Drake beat Kendrick and Migos to the favorite hip-hop artist award.
This year’s AMAs which were held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California presented the Lifetime Achievement Award to 80s star Diana Ross who received special messages from Taylor Swift, Mitchell and Barack Obama.
Singers who performed at the fete included Pink, Demi Lovato, Shawn Mendez, Christina Aguilera and Selena Gomez, who was performing for the first time since her kidney transplant operation.
