One of the most promising, celebrated young and fresh blood in the music industry producer Muwanguzi Dan popularly known as Danz Kumapeesa has breathed his last, according to close sources.
A close friend told this reporter that Danz Kumapeesa died this morning after some months on life support.
Since June this year, the 20-year-old music producer has been hospitalised at Nsambya Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit. He was speculated to be dead after he was seriously beaten by thugs in Makindye as he was returning home from an outing with friends.
Danz is the producer behind Bebe Cool’s Mbozi Za Malwa, Winnie Nwagi’s Musaawo and Fille’s hit song Nakupenda, among others.
“Finally you’ve left us Dans Kumapeesa. May the good Lord forgive your sins and transgressions! Rest in Peace our brother. It’s just a time difference till we meet again,” said a post on Rinex Pro’s facebook page.
