Not many Ugandan music deejays know ‘rock n roll’ music. Most are comfortable with Dancehall, RnB, Afrobeat yet a big number of fans prefer that style of music as they keep demanding for it in certain hangouts all over the country.
It’s because of this un-ending request that the management of Legends rugby club in Naguru has decided to fly in Kenya’s ‘The Rockdoktor’ during the ‘Rocky & Rolex theme night which happens every last Wednesday of the night starting tomorrow.
Commonly known as Deejay Tumz, the ‘Rockdokta’ has been a huge influence of rock music popularity in East Africa regional and was recently featured on CNN’s inside Africa feature of ‘the Rock scene in Kenya’. He currently plays on Capital FM in Kenya and a number of clubs as well.
With the Legends ‘Rock & Rolex’, he makes his return to Uganda, more experienced and ready to move the crowds crazy.
