EventsPork expo @ Mandela National StadiumThe first ever pork expo is on tomorrow and Sunday at Namboole Stadium. The two-day event is free for all but a pork coupon will be sold at 30k, so you will get to eat till you drop. There will also be training on piggery and ticket costs 30k. Gates open at 10am till late. Afrigo Band and Golden production @ Calender rest houseOn Eid day, Calender Rest House in Makindye will host two music giants; Afrigo Band and Golden Production. The bands will be performing their biggest songs from 6pm till late and entrance is 10k. Come be part of this experience and enjoy Moses Matovu, Joanita Kawalya, Eddie Yawe, Mesach, Harriet Kisakye, Stecia Mayanja and more.

ST MARK’S COLLEGE NAMAGOMA  ALUMNI GRAND HOMECOMING Old students of St. Mark’s College Namagoma will meet this Saturday to launch the St Mark College Old Students Association as they mark 14 years of existence. The event will be at St Mark’s College Namagoma starting at 10am to 10pm. There will be fun activities and dinner tickets for Shs50,000. Go out and shine.

Join the sophisticated, energetic and powerful theme night of storytellers in all categories featuring new comer, spoken word artist HeightsthePreacher, and many more awesome spoken word acts. All this is happening tomorrow at Open Mic Uganda (Kahwa 2go) on Ntinda Complex. Entry fee is 5k.

Eid special @ Freedom cityFreedom City presents the Eid Day special featuring performances from Swahaba Kasumba, Gravity Omutujju, Big Eye, Eddy Kenzo, Omulangira Ssuna and others. The event will start at 8pm and entrance is 10k for  children while adults will pay 20k. There will be children’s games as well such as bouncy castles, among others.

 

Drama/laughFete de la Musigue @ French school.Tomorrow from 6pm till 12am at the French School Lugogo Bypass, the Fete de la Musique will be coming to an end with a line-up of artistes such as Ecole Francaise music club, Haka Mukiga and Apio Moro, James and Giovanni, Jackie Akello and Mame N’Diack, Faizal Monstrixx, Sylvester & Abramz, Joram MC, Breakdance project Uganda, Kongoloko and Navio. The event is free.

Ettottolima @ Bat Valley TheaterFor the last time, Afri Talent presents a play titled Ettottolima (The rage) this evening up to Sunday for two shows; 3pm & 7pm. Come watch your favourite dramactors Abbey Mukiibi, Ruth Kalibala, John Ssgawa and Wyclif Luyombya among others. Entry fee is 20k per show. Akasoddokiyo @ Theater LabonitaThe Ebonies, headed by Dr Bosa and others like Kalisa, Barnabas and Sarah are performing their stage production Akasoddookiyo this evening at 7pm and tomorrow evening. The full length stage play will cost only 25k first class and 30k VIP. They will then have Latavia on Sunday at 7pm.

Friday bucket Night @ Diners Lounge Diners Lounge presents the Friday bucket night where five beers will go for 20k all night long. The night also features DJ Beats, DJ Mark, DJ Philo and hosted by MC Mason. Come dance to the latest music mixes.
