Bebe Cool signs on new management

Bebe Cool

Bebe Cool is self-titled “Big is Big” but when it comes to Ugandan artistes who have held shows out of Code 256, uhm, well, let’s just say the BIG IS BIG title fades. This is possibly why the Gagamel boss decided to get someone to manage some of his affairs for him. Recently Bebe announced that he had joined the Talent Africa family owned and run by Ali Alibhai and given them the rights to handle international booking and marketing agents. This is a good thing and we hope it goes well. Here is why.

While fellow artistes get booked for shows outside of Uganda, Big Size has sort of kept it within. This year with no doubt Eddy Kenzo has been one of Uganda’s biggest music exports in both Africa and Europe. In June Irene Ntale had a European tour of her own making it to Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Turkey and then she went to check out Trump land and managed a couple of shows in Dallas , Massachusetts, and Boston. Chameleone was in Addis Ababa Ethiopia recently to perform at the African Music and Culture expo. Swag mama Sheebah Karungi was in London in May, Earlier on this year MC Kats with his on and off boo, Fille also managed to travel to the United Kingdom for a Valentine’s Day special concert and later to Abu Dhabi. The furthest the Gagamel Boss has been is SA to shoot a video and maybe Kenya for his collabo with Sauti Sol. Call it Mbozi Zamalwa but with Bebe Cool’s recent post, we are not the only ones that have noticed his minimal travels as his friends make strides to being ‘Summers’

Hopefully we will Bebe going out more often.
