Kyamagero loses MC deal because of dress code

There are things we take lightly in life and for one journalist and radio personality this will be a lesson from experience. Last weekend during the launch of SunBelt Textile Company in Jinja, Andrew Kyamagero was contacted by Fenon Events to host the event and because President Museveni was the chief guest, most of the invited guests had a little bit of yellow on their outfits to show support for the ruling government. Kyamagero, who arrived a bit late because he was called on short notice, showed up in a black suit and blue shirt. Ouuuuuch!
So we are sure you already understand why when he was announced as the host, the invited guests were seen looking in dismay. After a few minutes, Kyamagero was seen changing into a black stripped shirt but just a few minutes into his session, he wasn’t seen again. When we talked to him on why he left the event, he told us the event was so political so they had to strip him of his duties. According to Kyamagero, the Jinja mayor told the organisers that the MC had showed his side by appearing in a blue shirt (an opposition colour). Well, at least he got paid!
