Just when we thought DJ Roja and Slick Stuart had arrived, news reaching us is that the disc-spinning duo will be the first DJs to participate in the Coke Studio. The 10th season of the music show is expected to begin next week in Nairobi, Kenya.
Although Slick Stuart refused to give us much detail on the deal, he hinted that they would go to Nairobi sometime in July during the end of the show, along with an International star that has not been revealed yet.
Among other Ugandan artistes that will be part of this edition of Coke studio are Ykee Benda, Sheebah, Lydia Jazmine and Bebe Cool. As you read this, Ykee Benda is already in Kenya preparing for the show.
In other news, we have heard that Roja and Slick Stuart will be flying to Dubai for the first time to perform at an event welcoming back Ugandans living in Dubai from Ramadhan.
