Beyonce goes all African at baby shower

For most women, when expecting, one of the things they look forward to is the baby shower. You can refuse to give her shopping money and she will be okay with it, as long as you invest in that baby shower. Colours like pink and blue are usually the main colours for the occasion.

Not Beyonce Knowles who decided to throw a lavish African-themed “push party” on Saturday for a baby baby shower.

The singer, who is expecting twins with rapper husband Jay-Z, had a lavish African-themed “push party” on Saturday with no detail overlooked and besides all the glamour, the event was attended by celebrities like her former Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, along with her good mate Serena Williams (who is expecting a baby of her own).

A heavily pregnant Beyonce continued her love affair with headdresses, and had her bare belly decorated with henna tattoos.

The gender of the twins and their due date is a closely-guarded secret, though Beyoncé’s dad Mathew Knowles says that it won’t be this month.
