HiPipo Music Awards @ Serena Hotel
The annual HiPipo music awards are happening tomorrow evening at Kampala Serena Hotel with a number of artistes to be awarded in different categories. Besides awarding, there will also be artiste performances by Bebe Cool, Chary, Nina and DJ Pius famed for ‘Agatako’. Entrance to this red carpet affair is 50k.

The Unseen Me exhibition @ Oasis Mall
Themed for bridging the gap between society and vulnerable children, the Unseen Me Exhibition is aimed at offering a platform for children to share their dreams as well as showcase enormous talents through poetry, fashion, dance, beatboxing, video screening, drama and live painting. The event is happening tomorrow till Monday from 5pm till 10pm at Oasis Mall for free.

Onduparaka FC vs Gor Mahia @ Namboole Stadium
The Kogalo Team FC Gor Mahia will face their counterparts from Uganda Oduparaka in an international friendly match scheduled for tomorrow at Namboole Stadium at 4pm. The clash will be the first time the two teams will be meeting. Entrance is 5k ordinary and 15k VIP.

Koffi Olomidde @ Speke Resort Munyonyo
Lingala legend Koffi Olomidde will this evening be the guest performer alongside Maurice Kirya, Fusion Band and VC dancers as Jack Pemba will be celebrating his birthday at Speke Resort Munyonyo starting at 8pm. Attendance to this event is by invite only and the tycoon will invite only 150 people.

Dance East Africa @ National Theatre
The Dance East Africa, a contemporary dance night performed by dancers from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Congo is happening tonight at National Theatre from 7am – 9pm at National Theatre with free entrance. This will be a golden opportunity for artistes from all walks of life to come together and bring their contribution to contemporary dance into the development of the society, while promoting cultural exchange through movements.
Ngalabi Short Film Festival @ Goethe-Zentrum
Goethe-Zentrum Kampala and Maisha Film Lab are proud to present the first edition of the Ngalabi Short Film Festival where short films from Uganda and other East African countries will be screened along with a few other masterpieces from the greater African continent and Germany. Entrance is free and screening starts at 6pm.

Mrs Right Guy @ National Theatre
Doneo Moeketsi, Lehasa Moloi, Thapelo Mokoena, Thando Thabethe and Tau Maserumule are starring in the movie Mrs Right Guy which will be showing next Wednesday at National Theatre starting at 7.30pm during the African Movie Night. Entrance to this screening is 10k.

Rwanda/Uganda Connect @ Atmosphere Lounge
Atmosphere Lounge and Singleton bring you the Rwanda/Uganda Connect and Singleton Party on Sunday. Music will be played all night long and there will be performances from DJ Pius (Agataako) alongside charly Na Nina and VJ Spinny. Entrance is free, doors open at 8pm and dress code is Mushanana for the ladies and casual for the gents.

First Friday Season 2 @ Gekko Lounge
Being the first Friday of February, the Dope First Friday season 2 theme night is happening this evening at Gekko Lounge located on Mackinnon road where there will be rap, spoken word and art starting at 7pm till late. Entrance is 20k per head.

Uptown Fridays @ Sky Lounge
DJ Dash, Edwizzy and Mato will be spinning the discs tonight at Sky Lounge rooftop at the Uptown Friday powered by Jameson. Party starts at 9pm. Come listen to Hiphop, RnB, dancehall among others. Entrance is free but to only smartly dressed people.

High Tea @ Tamarai
The monthly ‘High Tea’ is happening tomorrow at Tamarai where a wide selection of desserts, pastries, sandwiches and gourmet teas will be served. This will start at 3pm to 6pm and entrance is 40k per person. This will be a great way to spend time with friends.

Monday video premiers @ Laftaz
Every Monday, Laftaz comedy lounge presents the video premier hosted by DJ Shiru and DJ Fikie. Besides the premier, artistes also perform for the crowds and all this is free of charge. Come be the first to watch different videos during the evening.
