When the Ugandan rolex (eggs rolled in a chapatti) was named the fastest growing new African fast food last year by CNN, many people jubilated and among those was Tourism minister Godfrey Kiwanda, who took the celebration a notch higher by leading chapatti makers to Parliament so that the rolex can be endorsed as a national pride. The CNN endorsement was not the only nice thing we got last year, there is more.
We may have missed it, but three well known musicians; Naughty Boy from Britain, Popcaan from Jamaica and Kyla actually shot a video of their ‘Should’ve Been Me’ song in Kampala.
The song, which was released in November last year peaked at number 97 on the UK single charts and number 33 on Hungary’s top 40 songs was shot in the suburbs of Kitintale at the skateboarding park while other shots were taken in Mutungo Hill.
That was not the only thing. Also the main dancer in the video is a boy known as Trinity and we can say his moves are something to watch out for.
