Pemba brand scale heights with new label

When Jack Pemba speaks, it is more often than not with a husky (call it heavy) almost laboured accent. And not that he is not eloquent. One could say; blame it on his love for the late nights and allure of sipping whiskey shots to the bottle that somewhat make him literally inaudible the next morning. ‘Sorry about my voice. I had too much whiskey last night,” Pemba has been quoted in this paper before (last year) when unveiling his sponsorship for topflight basketball franchise Kyambogo Warriors that is now aptly named Pemba Warriors. But fast forward to to-date, writers of sports and lifestyle, the tycoon’s two favourite pastimes, believe the Pemba is all about showboating.

He loves to let his actions speak louder than his own words. Late last year SQOOP saw him cruise in a Range Rover Sport under registration number ‘ONLY 1 JP’, and we can reveal to you, from an informed view, that the big-spending sports lover is intent on growing his brand by unveiling a trademark label synonymous with global artists like Jay Z, Eminem and sporting icons like David Beckham (DB) and Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7).
SQOOP had a rare opportunity of being one of the first people of Pemba’s label design, and boy does it look nice?

The label logo predominantly in black has gold flowers straddling it on the side and right at the top are the numerical figures 0.1 and right underneath are the initials JP Pemba. “Every star has his personal logo and that is why I have unleashed this one,” Pemba said while giving us a sneak peek into his new label logo art work. “0.1 means Only One Jack Pemba. The flowers mean love, peace and freedom because I am a humble guy. I also opted for black and gold shades because they are my lucky colours,” Good luck JP, may you live to see your legend rise!
