With the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards out of the way, Uganda is this Thursday going to witness yet another highly anticipated fashion show dubbed the ‘White party’ at club Play.
After regional tours that included Mbarara, Mbale, Jinja ,Mukono, Mityana and Entebbe, the grand finale of the annual white party will see top fashionisters winning several awards.
With only seven categories to choose from including: top fashionister, top stylist, Best dressed Female that has contenders like Zari, Anita Fabiola, Desire Luzinda and Irene Ntale, Best dressed male celebrity that has Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool, Exodus, Bobi Wine and Levixone, Best video and the Best dressed celebrity in the diaspora with Meddie Sentongo, Eddy Cheune, Gitawo and Joseph Bbale, these awards will come with some money for every winner although we are yet to find out how much.
Initiated by a renowned fashion designer Yoweri Munamasaka, the fashion and award ceremony started last year but this specific edition is going to be a whole new experience.
“The ceremony has been packaged differently from other fashion events that have been happening. We are going to have model showcases and artiste performances from Bebe Cool, Cindy and David Lutalo among others,” he said.
Entrance is 30k and a table of 1million which also comes with a cake, wine and whisky.
