Legendary reggae artiste Maxi Priest has jetted into the country ahead of Saturday’s 9th annual Nile Gold Jazz and Soul Safari show. The singer arrived at Entebbe International Airport on Wednesday night at 10:50pm aboard KLM Royal Dutch airlines.
Maxi who will be the headline act alongside saxophonists Lin Rountree and Jackeim Joyner was clad in an all grey attire with his 15-band member crew. Speaking to Sqoop, the artiste said he was happy to be back in Uganda after a long time.
“This is my third time here, and people should expect nothing but love and fun at the show,” Maxi said.
Reggae lovers will be treated to a wide range of his songs like Close to You, Just a Little bit Longer, Wild World, Easy to Love, Best of Me, Crazy Love, Bonafide Love at the show which will be held at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
