Mun G is one of those rappers that will tell you the music industry is not a bed of roses. From having club bangers and flopped concerts he has scars and medals decorating his career. His latest track title, Vawo Awo, which means move in English translation is derived from catch phrases used in everyday life and he flavours it with comedy. He kicks off the track singing “bwoo nyigaa ofanana smigo…” which simply means “when you get angry you look ugly”. On the first verse he asks people to avoid spreading their problems everywhere. He does not forget to put the hip pop braggadocio on the third verse. Even when most of the song seems funny, the song has a succinct and apt message for his fans. On this particular track he tells listeners to not get tied up in their tough situations but rather move on and look happiness..
