The track: Sherry – Lydia Jazmine

She is fresh from the Coke Studio but can Lydia Jazmine keep up musically? In her new track, Sherry, Jazmine delivers something new for her fans and anyone who doubted her capability. Sherry means lover and in the song, Jazmine keeps her theme about love, a field she is perfecting experimenting different genres. This song starts with a piano before Jazmine checks in with the first verse in Swahili, flavoured with a Zouk vibe. On this verse, she explains of how her heart beats for her lover, promising total satisfaction. On the second verse, she talks of the troubles in relationships but nevertheless they stick to each other. Her chorus acts as a bridge. Lastly, she promises never to go. The highlight of this song is the vocal improvement she displays. She has also learnt how to expand her fan base singing in three languages; Swahili, English and Luganda.
