There has been rumour that Irene Ntale wants to quit Swangz Avenue. This stemmed from a Facebook page belonging to a one Ntale Ntale. This caused a lot of speculation regarding her career but when we called Swangz Avenue management, they were quick to trash the rumours saying they are false. “The rumours are false. We also saw the story in the tabloids. We do not know where this started from,” one of the bosses at the Muyenga-based record label.
Swangz Avenue is currently putting together Irene’s ‘Sembera’ tour which will see her perform in other Ugandan towns as well as Rwanda and Kenya after the success of her first concert a few weeks ago at Sheraton Hotel gardens. Ntale, who has been at Swangz for four years now, said, “Whoever came up with such rumours will burn in hell someday. I’m still very much with Swangz, which is the best team ever.”
