Bagisu also step up with ‘Bamasaba Night’

After all the hullaballoo of Bakiga night, West Nile Night and other ‘tribal’ themed nights, our brothers and sisters from the Mt. Elgon region have decided to hold one of their own.
The ‘Mulembe Night’ will be officially launched next week, August 26 at Silk Lounge.

It’s going to be a night of meeting, networking and partying, with an aim to promote Art & Culture in Masaba Land and neighboring societies.

According to one of the organisers, Jaq Deweyi, also a presenter at KFM, attendees will get free musical CD’s as well as entertainment from different artistes. “It’s going to be a night of meeting, networking and partying, with an aim to promote Art & Culture in Masaba Land and neighboring societies,” she said.

Also adding that Mulembe Night Ug is a launch of a platform that seeks to preserve the Bamasaba cultural heritage, tourism, networking, a venue for building a strong identity, a forum for reaching out to their community with an aim to contribute to environment protection, emphasising education of the girl child and access to International borders as well as a forum to promote Peace and harmony. Entry fee is just shs30k per head and show starts at 8pm.
