We have heard that when veteran radio presenter Alex Ndawula takes one too many, he becomes a nuisance. A at the 13th edition of Blankets and Wine last weekend, we witnessed this first hand.
After downing way too many free beers, the Capital Radio presenter approached the lead singer of Micasa band, J’Something, who was enjoying the France-Portugal match and started chatting. From nowhere, Ndawula started throwing tantrums and shouting on top of his voice. “I was there; you can’t just under look me like that. I’m a respectable person. Everyone knows me.”
The manager of Micasa thought his artiste had offended the radio presenter, but on following what really happened between the two, the manager just payed him a deaf ear just like the artiste. Ndawula went on and on for the rest of the game. Even the intervention of his workmate Val Oketcho and bouncers could not calm him. We later spotted him staggering away when the game ended. But we are told that is just him. How about a “drink” governer.
