The track: Day ones – Flex D’ paper ft Navio & Marths smalls

DO
Friends are important in life to an extent that we cannot live without them. However, there are categories; Hi friends, school friends, work friends, etc and then there are those who have got your back. Those are called the day ones. Flex D’ Paper aka leader of new skool hip pop dedicates this song to such friends. He is also known for the force behind the rapperholix label. He keeps his lyrics apt, talking about all his fly girls. In his rap, he reminds listeners that when talking about the best, his name is always there. On the chorus, Martha Smallz of the Airport Taxi fame, brings her strong vocals, shouting out to Day ones to keep it real. Navio graces the second verse, telling the story of his life long friends, and concludes saying only the real friends could keep up. Flex D’ Paper closes this jam punch line after punch line before Navio gives the listeners the outro. The highlight of the track is the message seated on a rather simple instrumental. Even if every thing seems good, this rapper has a lot to prove to get main stream with his genre of new skool.
