The track: Kazindalo – Aganaga

Lately rumour has it that the beef between Aganaga and Weasel has reignited and it apparently it starts from way back in school over a girl. A source also reveals that the rivalry was obvious because they both were prominent for very distinguishing reasons. While Aganaga’s fame was because of his talent, Weasel’s popularity was due to his brother’s (Chameleone) prowess in the music industry then. Well, Aganaga’s talent seems to be growing. In his latest track, Kazindalo, loosely translated as microphone in English, the singer tells listeners that music made him who he is.
One can only describe him as an influential social voice. He starts this track with a vibrant instrumental triggering listeners to dance. On the chorus, he confesses to own the power to the speaker that can get many on their feet. He goes straight up into the first verse, singing in his signature lyrics before going into the usual dancehall bragadocio, defining himself as a tornado and dancehall disciple.
He also surrenders to a woman, singing about how she rides him like a bicycle. The second verse is directed to all his critics whom he declares to finish off musically from town to town till they retreat to their villages and he won’t stop at that, but will continue with good music out of the speaker generation to generation.
The third verse could be critical for the recent rumours as he talks to one identified as Dr Mayanja to tell his brother not to resort to violence for those who prove better than him, quickly switching back to complimenting other artistes who have equally been elevated due to the talent. Away from that, the song fits for Ugandan vibe and If you are in the dancehall, this could be one song to request from your DJ.
