Clothing biz: Ronald Aguta alias Agutrizzy partnered with a renowned music artiste to start their own clothing line called Rapaholix. He explains to us more about the business.
What does Rapaholix mean?
Rapaholix is a combination of two words; Rapa, meaning a genre of music, and Holix, an abnormal desire for something. Rapaholix is a private fashion lifestyle company that was started by Flex D’Paper, a rapper and CEO of the Rapaholix music group which later expanded from music to a clothing line.

When did you come up with this clothing line?
In 2012 and then we were making a few items on order. We mostly sold the items to celebrities, especially to use in their music videos.

How much did you invest in this business?
The initial investment was Shs5m, but we have kept expanding in order to satisfy the market.

Why a clothing line?
By the time we started this business, we had little or no competition, so we basically set the trend.

What type of clothes do you make at Rapaholix?
We make T-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, V-neck t-shirts, hoodies, caps, bags, tops for women, and many more.

How much do your designs go for?
We charge according to the items, but our products range from Shs35,000 to Shs120,000. We try to make them as affordable as possible.

In case someone wants to buy your items, where can they find you?
At Star Styles store located at Prime Complex, Shop D23, or link up with us online via @rapaholixwear whether Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.

Are you targeting any kind of people with your clothes?
Most of our clients in the beginning were teenagers, but currently we are targeting the trendy person out there.

Where do you get your items from?
From China, but we do all the finishing from Uganda.
