He had sworn not to return home till ‘his candidate’ Yoweri Museveni wound up his campaign trail. But going by the self-confessed love he has for his wife and the new born baby, we all suspected singer Bebe Cool was simply trying to spit some loyalty for the country to see.
And not so many days later, Bebe finally succumbed to his emotions and returned to his family at the weekend.
Before he could even sit behind the steering wheel, Bebe posted a photo of his baby, Deen, following it with the words; “I miss you Deen, tell your sister and your brothers I am coming home!”
And on Saturday, Bebe had lunch and dinner with his family at their home in Ntinda, before heading out to catch up with fans and friends at his favourite spot – Silk Liquid in Bugolobi.
Bebe told us that although he had been given only three days off, he would spend a week in Kampala to bond more with his son Deen.
However, even then, Bebe said he will perform at all Candidate Museveni’s rallies and then return home, considering that the President will be canvassing for votes in Kampala then. Talk about loyalty!
