Irene Ntale to make up to her Fort Portal fans this weekend

A few months ago, singer Irene Ntale was advertised to perform at one of the Mirinda comedy tours in Fort Portal; but after a heavy dose of laughter from the comedians who performed that night, the singer was a no show.

This did not go down well with Ntale’s fans who had turned up to watch her perform. The night’s MC could only make things worse as he kept announcing that Ntale was on her way.
Time went by, it clocked 3am, and the MC had no option but to break the bad news. The fans were unhappy and it was evident in the murmurs.
In their defence, Ntale’s management explained that they had indicated to the organisers that they had another show in Fort Portal, and that they had only promised ‘to try’ and make it for the show once they were done with the first one early enough.
However, according to Veronica, Ntale’s personal manager, they wound up with the first show a bit late and Ntale was a bit fatigued, so they were unable to make it for the second one.
However, security managed to control the furious revellers and the night went without incident. Ntale apologised to her fans and promised to give them a free show sometime.
Well, rare as it is with Ugandan entertainers, Ntale will be returning to Fort Portal tomorrow and is set to headline another comedy show that will feature Dolibondo, and the two duos – Snake & Zoro, and Mad Rat & Chicco as well as Lydia Jazmine.
