For the last few months, all one could hear of Keko were rumours of her career fading away because of drug abuse. The rapper has had no new track, yet at one point she was at her peak to an extent of getting signed to Sony Music. With all that wreckage, she definitely needed a face lift. In her latest track, Face Lift, she features Ghanaian hip hop duo R2bees. The R2bees are famous for their award-wining collaboration, Slow Down, featuring Wizkid. In the song, Keko is clearing the air about her downfall. Just like always, other collaborations, this jam is not an exception to good execution. Keko kicks of the first verse assuring listeners how the whole genre needs a face lift and she does not need to be on the check list. R2bees’ Mugeez takes on the chorus in usual bragadocio of how they are better than the rest. The second verse is by Keko and lastly Paedae raps of his transition from rags to riches in the last verse. The articulation of lyrics syncs perfectly with the instrumental that are danceable, making this track not only good for the ears but also a club banger.
