NTV’s popular programme Be My Date is set to return on air after a short sabbatical. And as we all know, the show will not return with its former host Anitah Fabiola. The show already has a new presenter in The Hostel series, actress Betty Nassali, aka Bettinah Tianah.
Bettinah, who had managed to keep the news under wraps since she was signed up as the new presenter a few months ago, probably could not hold it any longer as she stormed Facebook and made her new role public earlier this week:
“… Well, the long wait is over; your favourite TV show is back , hosted by yours truly; Yap me.. Season 3 of Be My Date which starts to air this September is going to be bigger and better!” Bettinah’s message read in part.
Bettinah was thankful to her fans as well as NTV Production Manager Xena.
Bettinah signed out with a promise to make ‘all of us’ proud; “Best believe I will make you all proud.”
Be my date resumes showing on NTV this month, same day and time; Sunday 8pm.
