Busoga Kingdom supports Maro’s concert

When everyone in showbiz was rushing to get a catchy English title, Maro settled for R&B Kyabazinga. And true, Kyabazinga means king in Lusoga, but Maro’s choice to stay aligned to his heritage was a great sign of humility.
And just when we thought he was done, Maro further proved his love for his ancestral land when he chose to hold his Kamboine concert in Jinja.
Club beer and Africell approved of Maro’s choice by giving him a financial shot in the arm.
And now Busoga Kingdom has also come up to appreciate Maro for being a loyal subject to the Kyabazinga. Over the weekend, the Kingdom’s Premier Dr Joseph Muvawala invited Maro to the palace and presented him with a package to boost his upcoming concert.
Dr Muvawala told Maro the Kingdom will provide four mini buses to transport Maro’s fans from Centenary Park to Jinja and back at no cost.
An excited Maro told us that it was a huge honour for the kingdom to join his concert. “This is a clear sign that Kamboine is the most anticipated concert in Jinja this year. I thank my Kyabazinga and the entire kingdom. I am proud to be a Musoga,” Maro told us.
The four minibuses will depart from Centenary Park in Kampala at 4pm and will return immediately after Maro’s concert, slated for September 26 at Trans-Africa, opposite the Queens Palace in Jinja.
