What kind of work do you do?
I’m a graphics designer. I do 360 design concepts, logos, flyers, posters and promotional materials, among others.
When did you start doing this work?
I started in 2007 while I was in my S6 Vacation. My elder brother Moses Kibirige inspired me.
How much do you charge for your services?
My charges depend on the amount of work, timeframe, and input. I quote differently depending on various conditions that the client avails, for example, logo designs cost Shs500,000.
Who are some of your clients?
I have done work for Fenon Events, Nile Breweries (Africa Laughs), Mirinda (Man from Ombokolo), G1 Logistics, Tusker Malt Lager, Guinness (Get booked campaign), Riham (Rock Boom & Riham Orange), Kinyara Sugar, Peculiar Pyramid, ministry Of Justice, Spire Creative, Akabbo crowd funding project, Fezah app, Bankable Society and others.
How did you get your first job?
Mr Adris Kamuli (Creative Director MAAD) recommended me to Steve Jean at Fenon Records as a creative graphics designer/video editor for my first job and he also encouraged me a lot throughout my internship programmes.
How many pieces can you make in a day?
I can do three projects a day depending on the scope.
How long does it take to come up with a design?
With all the required materials available for example pictures, copy (content/text) it takes me a minimum of one hour to cook up something elegant.
