Singer Peter Miles is one of Uganda’s biggest dancehall music exports. We are not just talking about collabos with Jamaican dancehall stars, but we are talking about him taking his music to the rest of the world.
Peter Miles has been to different parts of the world before and the latest info on our desk is that he is doing it again. The Blessings singer recently flew to Sweden to kickstart a world tour that will also see him perform in Spain, Italy, Germany and Colombia.
Miles told us that the deal came through two international promotion companies in Europe. “I was approached by Outhere Records and they linked me up with these promoters,” he told us.
He performed at the Gothenburg Summer Fest in Sweden last weekend and he is set to perform at Rotodom Reggae Fest in Spain, the Over Jam Reggae Festival in Slovenia, and the Summer Jam in Italy.
All through these concerts, Miles will share stages with internationally acclaimed artistes such as Stephen Marley, Capleton, Mariah Carey, Pharrel Williams, and Jah Cure. Peter Miles, who flew with lover Sheri, will also head to Colombia for another fest in December. Keep the Ugandan flag flying high.
