The DVD : Wedding Ringer

This movie has such a unique plot. Sad as it is, there are actually people who would find it difficult to come up with a list of five people to have on their bridal entourage. But they probably wouldn’t have to go through much trouble as Doug (Josh Gad) did. After making tens of calls, dude can’t get anyone to be his best man and yet he needs to get seven groomsmen as well.  He fears that this could send the wrong message to Palmer (Kaley Cuco-Sweeting) his wife to be who seems to have hundreds of friends. Two weeks to the event, he decides to seek the services of Jimmy (Kevin Hart), the owner of the company that provides best men and groomsmen for men in need.
For $50,000 (about Shs150m), Jimmy goes on a hilarious mission to pull off what he calls a Golden Tux, a service offering seven groomsmen and a best man. As if to show Doug that he is worth the money, he goes with him to a couple of his gigs. Dude is so convincing and good at his work. From faking being a Muslim, professor to priest, he will do it all just so you look good at your wedding.
He even creates pictorial memories just to make it all believable to the guests. I wonder if such a service would prosper in Uganda. I cannot find anything to diss about this flick. Tell me if you find one and while at it, make an effort to stay in touch with your friends, you never know when you will need them even if it will only be ceremoniously.
