New kid on the block, Naira Ali, is slated to unveil her 12-track album dubbed Sounds of Naira Ali this evening at Hotel Africana, Nile Hall.
The album has songs like Tulo, Muntu wange, shygal featuring Ziza Bafana, Mwerere, Nze Nawe, Okikola otya, Dancing tonight, sweetest thing, Ngandi nawe alongside Daniel Kawesa, breaking down, fighter and ensi yange with Little Tammy.
The evening, which will double as a black tie dinner party will cost 50k and 100k for ordinary tickets and VIP respectively.
The album unveiling will as also see other artistes like Grace Nakimera, Jackie Chandiru, Ziza Bafana, Mina and Shifa Musisi among others performing.
“We need to promote the album more before the main concert”, Naira said when asked why her management decided to hold a listeners party instead of a concert.
The artiste also added that Africana is a convenient place for her fans as compared to other venues. “Venom was the first venue but because of accessibility and appeal from some of our fans, we changed to Africana.” She explained.
Naira Ali is a young talented vocalist whose music falls under the category of pop, reggae and soul. She started singing at quite a tender age but broke out in 2013 with okikola otya as her break through single.
