Ethiopian singer redoes Badilisha

Untitled-1kkk
Where are the critics that keep lashing out at our musicians for plagiarising beats from other hit songs?  Hurry, because your services might be needed in Ethiopia! We can reliably reveal that an Ethiopian singer recently released an Ethiopian rendition of Chameleone’s 2013 chartbuster Badilisha. The Ethiopian singer seems to ride so much on plagiarism, to the extent that he even had to copy his stage name from Jamaican dancehall sensation Beenie Man; as he trades as Bini Man!
Well, last month, Bini Man released Men Bedelesh, which has the same beats and rhythm as Badilisha, although in an Ethiopian dialect.
On hearing the song, Chameleone’s Ethiopian fans started forwarding it to him on his different social media pages. And although he rubbished the quality of the production, Chameleone said he was not about to take any step that might jeopardise Bini Man’s career. “When I started music, I was looking up to some names, may be this guy has always looked up to me and he thought by redoing my song, he would be like me,” Chameleone said.
However, Chameleone told us that he is not about to promote copyrights abuse by sitting back and watching the Ethiopian singer ride on his composition.
“I told my people in Ethiopia to tell him to get in touch so that I teach him about copyright and also the necessary steps he should take if he is to ever redo anybody else’s song,” Chameleone said.
