He came into the limelight on a rather not so good note. Ken Muyisa made headlines in tabloids and gossip sites after he dumped singer Phina Mugerwa Masanyalaze and immediately hooked up another singer-Cindy. All the bad press didn’t hinder Ken from visiting Cindy’s parents, a step many considered rushed.
Fast forward, Ken is doing everything possible to establish himself as a serious businessman in Uganda. A few months back, he took over former Daytona Bar in Kansanga and refurbished it to the current Da Boss Bar.
Ken whom many doubted when he said he was a soccer player for a South African side, went ahead and signed for Sports Club Villa. But away from soccer, he also has a serious thing for music; and it’s not just because he is dating Cindy. He recently launched Da Boss Music Management. As expected, Cindy was Da Boss’ first signing. Da Boss Management officially takes care of Cindy’s production and bookings.
The latest on our desk is that Da Boss management recently signed dancehall artiste Ragga Pimpi, who has been on the music scene for some time but hasn’t been lucky enough to land a hit song. However, Ken thinks he can turn Pimpi’s musical fortunes.
And Ken is not done yet, sources have told us that the former South African-based businessman is in talks with a few other artistes to join Da Boss management.
