Just months after welcoming their first baby, Gagamel/ KFM Saturday night show spinner, DJ Bryan’s girlfriend Mclean Nahweera has declared intentions to join politics. News from the couple’s home in Kisaasi is that Nahweera, will be one of the contestants to watch in the western Uganda youth Member of Parliament seat race come next year.
DJ Bryan confirmed his girlfriend’s interests.; “Mclean is reserved, honest and hardworking- she knows what to do, so my brothers and sisters, here is a very fantastic leader for you,” he said.
Mclean was not available for a comment, but sources close to her told us that she has been doing consultations with elders and stakeholders in the ruling NRM party for a long time. Mclean who is well known by some of the senior citizens and NRM top brass like Premier Ruhankana Rugunda, will be facing stiff competitions from the likes of Edwin Muhumuza, Mpaka Mwine and Davis Akampulira.
Meanwhile Dj Bryan told us that his boss- Bebe Cool has already pledged to go all the way and canvass support for Mclean through what he does best-music.
