We want to share the fame with you, Sitya Loss Kids’ manager tells Kenzo

gsp-Kenzo2014 was a good year for singer Eddy Kenzo, thanks to his Sitya Loss video, in which he featured the Triplets aka the Sitya Loss dancers. And we can comfortably write that 2015 looks like another amazing year for Kenzo. The singer was recently chosen to feature on the African Cup of Nations (Afcon) theme song titled Hola Hola.  The song features other African music stars such as Wizboyy, Arielle T, Molare, Singuila, Cano and Toofan.
Kenzo was flown in a chartered plane from Gabon where he had a show, to Equatorial Guinea just in time to perform at the opening ceremony of Africa’s biggest football showpiece.
And while back stage at the event, he met celebrated Senegalese born American singer and Konvict label boss Akon, who shocked Kenzo when he told him he likes his Sitya Loss video and the children in it.
Kenzo took to his Facebook wall and shared Akon’s message with his fans and the kids; “I met him backstage and the first thing he told me is, ‘Kenzo I like your song and the kids dancing in the video, tell them I appreciate their talent. God bless them,” Kenzo posted on his Facebook wall.
However, while the Triplets aka Sitya Loss kids’ manager Dauda Kavuma, was happy that another star was applauding the kids, he expressed dismay over what he termed as “Kenzo’s failure to honour the kids!”
“The kids thought Kenzo would take them to some of his shows abroad, that was their dream and they’ve continuously begged him, but he doesn’t seem to care a bit. But, I shall re-echo their cry to Kenzo, please take them with you for some of your shows abroad, they will do better than they did in the videos, and they will also have the opportunity to meet their fans that enjoy their works in the Sitya Loss and Jamboree videos,” Dauda told us. Over to you Kenzo.
