Urban TV celebrity critique, rather ‘disser,’ Mary Luswata is no longer part of the Kansanga-based Galaxy FM.
Luswata quit the station towards the end of last year and she did her last show at the station last Friday. Luswata, who joined Galaxy FM sometime mid last year, has been working as a co-host of the breakfast show with Mariat Nasasira and comedian Afande Kerekere.
Luswata told us that she was not forced by her bosses at Urban TV to quit Galaxy, but rather, XFM, a sister radio to Urban TV only opened their eyes and realised how much they were missing!’
Luswata told us that XFM management gave her a better offer and after weighing advantages like convenience that comes with doing two jobs under one roof as well as favourable hours of work, she decided to call it a day at Galaxy FM.
Luswata told us that waking up too early had never been her thing and although she had braved it for months, she embraced the new working hours at XFM as relief.
She started work at XFM this week.
