Who said there is no artiste that can hold a concert on the same day with Jose Chameleone? Step up King Saha. Ladies and gentlemen, come May 1, we shall have to decide whether to attend Jose Chameleone’s Wale Wale Double Trouble concert at the vast Lugogo Cricket Oval, or head to Freedom City for singer King Saha’s Gundeze Diamond concert.
During a telephone conversation with King Saha, the Mulilwana-star told us that he set the date for his concert towards the end of last year, but he was shocked when Chameleone announced the same date for his concert.
“I sat with my team and we set the date last November, but here we are now, Chameleone has also chosen the same date, I guess that’s it, no turning back, because preparations have been ongoing for all this long,” Saha told us.
Some critics however suggest that Saha as well as his manager Sam Mukasa, both formerly part of Chameleone’s Leone Island, are looking at a way of getting back and proving their might to their former boss.
However, Mukasa denied any such arrangements. “I’m a businessman, I don’t wedge war with anyone who has not trampled on my business. It’s just that we set Labour Day for Saha’s concert. It’s really unfortunate that that’s the same date, Dr Jose Chameleone chose. Unfortunately, we can’t change a thing now because preparations are already underway,” he told us.
Chameleone was not available for a comment.
