Have you been struggling to switch calendars on your phone? Well, here comes the Touch calendar, which pulls together all your online calendars into one easy-to-use app. This app syncs your Google calendar and any other calendar you have subscribed to, together with the phone’s calendar, so you can constantly be up to date. You can use it to add events, set start and finish time, reminders, event locations, add guests by email and change the privacy setting for each event. It defaults to a completely zoomed out view on start-up, but zooming in and out and scrolling through each month is quick and simple, thanks to its snappy and responsive interface. Another highlight is the Go To Date option in the menu, which allows you to jump to whatever date you like, a quick way to navigate to a specific event, instead of having to scroll through the calendar to find it. The free version requires one to open the app to view the calendar, but the paid version also includes a home screen widget that shows a semi-transparent overlay of the calendar, which you can tap to immediately enter the app. Only problem is it has no Agenda view, and to add an event, you have to go to the menu.
