Comedian Cotilda Inapo, who has been one of Galaxy FM’s morning show hosts, has thrown in the towel. Sources close to the comedian told us she didn’t quit on bad grounds, but rather chose to refocus all her time and concentration on pushing her comedy career. Cotilda is the brain behind the monthly Queens of Comedy shows and recently cracked a deal to curtain raise for Anne Kansiime wherever she will be performing.
She recently cracked ribs in Zambia and was with Kansiime in Tanzania last weekend. “I realised I would be cheating my employers. We have so many shows coming up and at some point I will hardly be in town for three weeks, so I made the best choice; to drop it when it’s hot!” Cotilda told us.
But by the time of her resignation, Galaxy FM management had already initiated trending controversial Urban TV presenter Mary Luswata to their morning show. Luswata who has been doing gossip on the morning show between 9.15am and 10am, was announced as Cotilda’s replacement in a meeting held at the radio station’s offices in Kansanga on Tuesday morning. Will Luswata take her dissing character to Galaxy FM? Time will tell!
