If one plotted each musician’s career on paper, David Lutaalo’s graph would have simultaneous peaks and crests. But since he kicked off his career at the peak with his Kapapala hit, Lutaalo must have earned his place up there, only having short crests as he always takes his time creating love ballads that get his music on many listeners’ lips. He does justice to his song titled Akantu, which simply translates to “small thing” in English.

In this song, his vocal talent explodes as he gives a musical narration of the small things that keep his affection ablaze for this one girl. Lutaalo sings about love at first sight. He invites the girl over so that he could talk to her after meeting her, saying he was blown away by the way she carried herself. He further pleads with her, asking if he could change the menu of whatever he offered from dry tea and better it with sugar for her pleasure.
