I invested Shs7m and it’s worth Shs30m.
What exactly do you deal in?
We sell wines, spirits, energy drinks, soft drinks and other beverages.
How much are your drinks?
Wines range from Shs10,000 to Shs200,000 depending on the quality and quantity. Spirits go for Shs5,000 to Shs200,000 depending on the brand.
Whisky ranges from Shs5,000 to Shs300,000 and energy drinks go for between Shs55,000 to Shs120,000 a carton.
What challenges do you face doing this kind of business?
With this kind of job, we make more money during public holidays, which are few, yet the rent I pay is so high.
What benefits have you received from this business?
I have made friends who I can rely on for anything because of this business.
