Print pants: Gone are the days when prints were reserved for dresses and blouses. Time to make a bold statement with your pants.

Today, one can wear all sorts of print, ranging from polka dots, checker-print, chevron print, stripes and even the floral print on trousers!

Yes, print pants are in, and a very wise way for one to explore their great fashion sense. These pants are not only playful but also very colourfully and eye-catching. Even better, one can wear these pants to practically everywhere, even to the office, depending on how they wear them. Printed pants range from leggings to skinnies, harem and slouchy pants.

One however needs to keep in mind that wearing a print statement piece draws attention to their lower part of their body, so that is why it is important to choose the print carefully. Since the pants are already busy, it would be wise to opt for a neutral shirt or blouse and less accessories in order to avoid creating an overly done look.

Alternatively, one can choose a shirt or blouse that matches one of the colours in their printed pants. And if you are a little more daring try mixing prints, but remember the prints for the top and pants should be within the same colour scheme.

The other important aspects here are the accessories. Avoid bold statement necklaces and printed scarves because they draw attention away from the printed pants. A simple necklace, earrings, or bracelet works great with this look.  The print pants can be worn with just any type of shoes, depending on how you blend them in with your print pants.

They however look best matched when worn with wedges or strappy sandals or flats. However, one can also wear their print pants with high heels, for a more sophisticated look.
