Chamili leaves in luzira not muyenga

Chameleone

Chameleone

All Leone Island fans, we bring you good news, singer Jose Chameleone for the first time this year, flew out of the country. Rumours made rounds that the singer had been stopped at Entebbe Airport on his way to Dubai and his passport had been confiscated by Police in January, in connection with the case of one Robert Karamaji who allegedly set himself ablaze at the singer’s home in Seguku and later lost his life in hospital. However, Chameleone laughed off rumours of being stopped at the airport as he flashed his passport to us confirming it had not been confiscated.

Fast forward and the Director of Public Prosecution declared that the singer had no case to answer. He is back to business as usual and he was in Kigali over the weekend where he performed alongside Kigali diva Knowless.

We have also learnt that Chameleone did not shift to a house in Muyenga as he had posted on his wall over a month ago. “My security and that of my family was compromised in Seguku. Therefore, it was prudent to acquire another place as the security issues at Seguku got fixed. Again this will allow for the renovation work that has been going on at Seguku for the last four months get finished and done more efficiently … Introducing my hut in Muyenga,” Chameleone wrote.

Well, according to reliable sources, Chameleone has been seen at a house in Luzira near Lakeside Secondary School for the past several weeks. “He lives in a house up there; he drives from that house every morning and every evening,” said a boda boda rider who insisted he was happy to share a village  with Chameleone!
We are yet to hear from Chameleone about this, but more people have come out and confirmed that they are actually the Valu Valu singer’s neighbours in Luzira!
