Hustler : King Dutch MC.

Why King Dutch?
My real name is Dennis Daaki. So back then when I used to play soccer at school, my friends used to call me Dutch. Then King comes from a faith I have built within myself, that I can be the best at what I do.

How long since you started singing?
It’s about three years now. I started in my S.5. That’s when I first went to studio for some serious recording business and did my very first video, of my song called Nkoona. However, I always liked to sing since childhood. I was part of the school choir all the time I was in school.

Do you hope to do this for life? It seems we have enough musicians already.
I’m just getting on my feet, and that means that my realm is here and it’s to stay. I hope not to live in harmony but rather make all the rest beg for mercy. I mean, there can not be two or more kings,  I will be the king. The music we have right now is something we enjoy simply because we don’t know better and that’s what I am here to bring.

How long before you assume your rightful place, Mr King?
It won’t be long, my music is getting airplay on Radio City, Hot100, Galaxy FM and Ddembe. You can hardly miss it because I have taken it all around. However, radio presenters can be “funny”. They keep asking for money every time and they don’t even play my music.
