The Details
This is a weird movie. Its director and writer Jacob Aaron Estes tries so hard to add twists to the otherwise ordinary love story of a couple that has been married for 10 years. Jeff and Nealy Lang (Tobey Maguire and Elizabeth Banks), like with most couples that have been married for that long, are at a point where the spark in their relationship is faint. They are not in a good position and are constantly fighting and quarreling.
They are driving each other crazy and the movie visualises the details of this and its consequences. But sometimes, it is too much information. In fact, some scenes are so embarrassing, that you wouldn’t want to be watched watch them. It is a mediocre movie that is almost boring even though one or two scenes will make you chuckle. The acting, setting and costumes are ordinary. Watch this only if you are bored.
