Here is how Kabaka keeps fit

kabaka

kabaka

His Highness the Kabaka will forgive us for we are bakopi who are not fit enough to discuss him! But we are his subjects that always pass on news about him to his people, and we are doing just that! We have seen the Katikiro Eng. JB Walusimbi jog to keep fit almost every weekend in Muyenga.

We also saw Tooro King Oyo trotting along upper Buziga Road. We would like to bring to your attention that Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi is equally keeping fit! We bumped into the Kabaka sometime last week as he trotted through the Kireka suburb, a few kilometers from his home. Shockingly, the Buganda Kingdom leader would pass for any other person working out as he jogged alone but with a hood covering half of his face.

But a few fellas in Kireka who know their king, and wait to greet him every morning, alerted us that it was the real Kabaka! He greeted them, waved and trotted on. Yet the Kabaka didn’t have his bodyguards close to him; they jogged about 20 metres behind! The lads in Kireka told us the Kabaka jogs every morning, sometimes with his dog. “He is a very fit man! He has done this for years!” one of the men told us!
