Ladies stand up and give yourselves a thunderous handclap! Gentlemen, get ready for an all-female comedy show that is taking place at Laftas Comedy Lounge later this evening. We are talking girl power! Uganda’s leading female comedians led by Cotilda Inapo of the Crackers, actress and comedian Leila Kalanzi of Akandondoli comedy show as well as Ann Kansiime of Theatre Factory are set to prove their might in a show dubbed Queens of Comedy will also feature a female Disc Jockey DJ XYL of Platinum Deejays who will be doing what she does best on the turn tables.
According to Cotilda, the show will also feature new faces of female comedians. “We have been carrying out a search and we have a couple of new faces that can surely crack ribs! We will be unveiling them at the show!”Queens of comedy will run from 7pm until 10.30pm and entry is only Shs 10,000!
