Singer Bebe Cool has declared war against a local newspaper, Bukedde. The singer lost his cool after the Luganda daily’s Monday edition published a story that he had been beaten by bouncers and they even cut off some of his dreadlocks! However, the story did not go down well with the singer who immediately made it clear on his Facebook page that he would pursue Bukedde in the courts of law.
The singer told us that this was not the first time, Bukedde was running a defamatory story! “Sometime back they said I failed to pay dancers who had danced in my video shoot. When my car was damaged in Nakulabye they ran very parallel stories,” Bebe told us. “Enough is enough! Not that I am not grateful to the media, but people’s names should be put into consideration even when one wants to make money!”
Bebe told us that his legal team will finalise filing the case by the end of this week.
