Musicians Mowzey and Weasel got to us to refute publications that there is trouble in their camp caused by a rift with their manager over their “Neverland” mansion in Makindye. “We don’t have any problems amongst us, we are very fine with our manager and our houses are not in any sort of trouble,” said a rather disappointed Mowzey.

The Good Lyfe singers further told us that they are suing the Vision Group for defamation.
The duo’s lawyers, BBA Associates & Company advocates addressed their notice of intention to sue in a letter dated August 29, to Vision Group’s Managing Director, where they claimed, The Kampala Sun, a tabloid published by the media company had published stories that the singers had fraudulently obtained the land on which their new houses sit.
The Good Lyfe members also further dismissed reports by the same tabloid that the said land belongs to a Buganda Princess.

“Can you imagine Bukedde TV, besides broadcasting the above information, went ahead and forged voice recordings of us and they alleged we had consented to what had been published!” Mowzey said before adding,  “We talked to Robert Kabushega (Vision MD) about the false and inciting publications about us several times but he turned a deaf ear. Now we are ready to see him in court.”
The singers want a compensation amounting to Shs250m for defamation and damages caused to their reputation.
