If you have heard this song, you know it is as hot as dancehall gets. You just want to get up and give those Jamaican dancers a run for their money. So you will understand my crashing disappointment at how boring this video is. Several Os and Is put me off. If you have not watched it, here is what you are not missing. Young Mulo sings and gestures about how “bad man ‘em can’t do tell me noth’n”, with an assortment of men standing in the background.
I might not be a bad man but I sure can tell you something Young Mulo – that glaring white background is an eyesore, we did not get why Raba Daba and all those boys in black were in the background just standing there as if they were trees, and that girl who tries to imitate dancing… what was that about?
In fact, when I was watching the video, my neighbour said it looked like it had been shot using a phone camera. He might have been exaggerating but he had a point. The lighting would have been fine but given that white background, it ended up being too bright, no wonder you had shades on.
Bottom line, hot song, poor excuse for a video. You would have had a better video if you and your camera person had gone to a club and filmed people dancing to this hit.
