If you go to the National Theatre this weekend, you are sure of a big surprise.
The old students of Namasagali College including a host of household names are re-uniting on stage in musical stage play titled The Happy Life Hotel, which was written last year by — who else — Father Grimes himself.
The likes of Sanyu FM’s Seanice Kacungira, Cleopatra Koheirwe, The Hostel’s Joanita Wandera, Roger Masaba, Fun Factory’s Raymond Rushabiro, Jessy Kakooza and Kwezi Kaganda are part of the cast on stage this weekend.
The play is a fascinating comedy of errors and romance directed by Amelia Mbotto. This evening’s show is at 7pm. There will be one show tomorrow evening and two shows on Sunday, at 3pm and 4pm. And most importantly, the college’s legendary principle Father Grimes will be in the audience and so shall we. How about that?
